Preparation and Usage
We love to personalise our
Pad Thai with these handy tips:
- Squeeze in half a lime & serve with a wedge of lime for extra zest.
- Try the dish with chicken instead of prawns.
- Add a teaspoon of fish sauce and palm or caster sugar to finish with a balanced flavour.
- Serve with some sushi ginger on top for an added flavour kick.
How to:
1 Heat - Bring a pan of water to the boil and add a pinch of salt. Empty the noodles into the pan, making sure they're covered, cook for 5 minutes. Rinse in cold water, drain and set aside
2 Sizzle - Get your wok smoking hot and add a splash of oil. Fry the prawns for 2 minutes (or until cooked if using raw prawns), push the prawns to one side and add the egg to the pan quickly stirring to scramble, once firm mix with prawns.
3 Stir - Add the cooked rice noodles and pad thai paste to the pan then stir fry for 3 minutes until the noodles are hot. Add most of the peanuts, the spring onions, bean sprouts and stir together.
4 Enjoy - Serve with a final scattering of peanuts.

Shrinkflation
One packet used to be (just about) enough for two. The portion has now been reduced (but not the price. One packet is nowhere near enough for two.
OK but super sweet
This was too sweet for me but husband enjoyed it. Also had to bulk it out quite a lot with vegetables and protein because its a very small portion for two.
2 servings- you must be joking!
In our house, we are trying to reduce portion size. Usually, I'd buy a 3rd pack just in case. I thought no, I'll stick to the serving on the packaging. How wrong I was. For the love of God- do not rely on these pitiful efforts for your tea.
great taste
These are super quick to make and I only ate half and reheated the rest the next day. Tasted just as good reheated and the texture of the noodles are great. I replaced the prawns with chicken and it was so yummy
Only use half the sauce
With the full sachet of sauce it is, as others have said, too sweet and not at all like pad that. But with only half the sauce and all the noodles (plus prawns, eggs, bean sprouts) it tastes good.
Horrible
Has nothing to do with Pad Thai. Just a sweet n sour sticky disgusting sauce
