Fabulous fruit cakes
The cakes are moist for a long-life product, having the same buttery sheen as madeleines. I am surprised at just how packed full of fruit they are, all of which is flavoursome and tender. The sponge is light but rich due to the high proportion of good quality butter and eggs, with the overall flavour being a mix of subtle vanilla and citrus. Whilst not particularly large, the cakes are a decent enough size for a small snack, and the fact that they are individually wrapped means they keep well and can be kept in the car or handbag for eating out and about. It is worth noting that both the ingredients list and the nutritional information on this webpage do not reflect those of the current product (which I have alerted Ocado to), with the cakes actually containing more fruit and less calories than is shown here. Overall, these are high-quality, tasty little fruit cakes that I would definitely recommend.

We like these best of all the range but had to go to Booths to get them so glad Ocado have now stocked them. Fruity and yummy and ideal if your trying to diet as they are a small treat and not too wicked!

Excellent ratio of fruit to cake
Not that special
These have an artificial flavour, it might be the rum flavouring, but whatever it is its not very nice. Also just a bit too rubbery and weird.
