Toxic, vile, chemical pee
God this cant be for human consumption. If you told me it stripped mortar from bricks I would believe you. Its like the worst blend of intense chemical mouldy smell with old oregano. Jesus, the whole lot went down the sink and I cannot get the smell out of this house. What is going on here.
very very odd taste
Really looking forward to drinking this and open the bottle on Friday night. Initial aroma is very odd and synthetic. Not getting any better after drinking it. A very expensive taster. Money wasted. Wish I had read the reviews before I buy. Never again!
what has happened to the price?
Sadly, this product has priced itself out. When I first started buying it, it was £5.99. Then increased to £6.99. But £8.49?.. Really? Too many other more favourably priced attractive non-alcoholic drinks out there. A great shame.
Following a recommendation from a friend I thought I would try this as always keen to explore non alcoholic alternatives to drink and I am a firm fan of Seedlip etc. But this was simply dreadful. The taste and smell almost reminded me of antibacterial hand soap with a hint of aniseed - Im struggling to find something to compare it with. Couldnt finish the glass and had to throw the rest away - so did my husband. Wouldnt buy again if you paid me - sorry.
I really wanted to like this drink and had been saving it to try but wish I hadnt. It tastes like bitter fennel with cough mixture and antiseptic mixed in. The leaflet that came with it said the first taste is unusual but after 10 sips it becomes strangely addictive - I think not! I thought Id try it again on the second day as perhaps it wasnt so bad after all but somehow it was worse. I love Seedlip and the Bees Knees but this was hideous, what a waste of money!
horses for courses - I love it!
Really is horses for courses. I personally love this drink, I hate sweet non alcoholic wines. This is very herbal but different, healthy and refreshing.
