Product information

Zesty and vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, crafted by Marlborough pioneers Brancott Estate. This Sauvignon Blanc is 20% lower in alcohol and calories than a standard Sauvignon Blanc. Our knowledge of the Marlborough region and the Sauvignon Blanc grape has allowed our winemakers to select and harvest grapes earlier than usual to craft this full-flavoured wine that is naturally lighter in alcohol. Serve well-chilled with fresh spring greens, vegetable pizza, Caprese salad or grilled fish. Your perfect mid-week tipple, great for casual dining. Best served at 7 -10˚C.

Tasting Notes:
This wine presents fragrant passionfruit, lemons and grapefruit on the nose. These aromas are followed by a sweet pungency and ripe lemon sherbet flavours that change to mangoes. The palate shows great balance with a refreshing, crisp and lively acidity.

Current Vintage
Vinification Details
To make this lighter wine we harvested specially selected blocks of fruit early, when full flavour ripeness at lower sugar levels were reached. The fruit was gently bag pressed and the clear juice fermented cool with aromatic yeast strains, in stainless steel tanks. This retained maximum varietal aroma. The wine was blended and filtered to be released soon after vintage with distinctive regional and varietal characters at peak.

Good Alternative

Good alternative for a lower calorie wine, very light. Doesn't quite give that well known saviougn blanc taste but would purchase again

Super Sauvignon with less alcohol

I didnt realise this was lower alcohol when I bought it. I was concerned that it wouldnt taste as good as normal Sauvignon but it was terrific. Light, refreshing, with tropical fruits but also with a balanced finish, and, importantly, not sweet, like some low alcohol wines can be. We shared the bottle and felt bright-eyed the next day. And fewer calories too, so all is good!

I'm a gin and tonic kind of girl if I'm honest, but occasionally I'll have a glass of wine, and most of them knock me sideways they are so strong! This one is very light, nice flavour without punching you in the face and lovely on a warm evening in the garden. Love the lower alcohol content.

Light zesty wine

This is a light, zesty wine with a citrus flavour. It has a pleasant sparkling crisp finish. Goes well with fish dish ( ours was a Mediterranean fish pie) I was surprised at the low alcohol content as it did not give that impression on drinking. This would be a decent drink with lunch or on a hot summers day. would certainly buy it again and recommend it.

Lovely alternative

Great wine, it’s lighter than a traditional Sauvignon but tastes lovely. Easy to drink and is nice and fruity with a nice level of sweetness.

Don\x27t be put off by the %

When I purchased this I hadn't noticed the alcohol content, which I'm glad as I may have not purchased otherwise. This was a very pleasant and drinkable wine with a slight sweetness to it. Refreshing, lovely as a soda spritzer.
