dont
With its sharp nostril burning aroma, this wine does not disappoint those that love battery acid. Be sure to pack the Gaviscon if you plan on drinking this nasty boy! With little redeeming features I would happily recommend you buy another wine. Bonus, it tastes no better with food.
Maybe acceptable
If you buy make sure its when on offer and dont expect an Italian restaurant house wine .. its below that standard .
Alright
Lighter than I'd like and wasn't full of flavour
Bottles like this will do nothing for montepulcian
I’d be surprised if anyone who bought this went back for more ..I bought after reading decent reviews…don’t be fooled
received free to review
This was alright as a standard bottle of red with a roast dinner. Nothing particularly to write home about. Didnt get the ott tannins other reviewers picked up.
Tannin heavy
I was given a free sample of this to review. I didn't care for this at all. I found the tannins too sharp and that they overwhelmed the fruits which were too subtle. Blackcurrant and plummy on the nose but the tannin made this taste rough. I usually prefer reds like Pinot Noir, Merlot and Shiraz/Syrah.
