Abruzzo is the rugged heartland of the Montepulciano grape. Located in central Italy, this region produces a bold, friendly red wine known as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.


This wine is loved for being dark in color but very smooth to drink. It is packed with juicy flavors like black cherry and plum. Known for being great value and distinctively hearty, it is considered one of the best "everyday" red wines for pizza and pasta.

Vinification details

Skin contact for 24 hours to extract flavour and tannin. Alcoholic fermentation with selected yeasts. Post fermentation, the skins are soft pressed off and the wine drained to tank to complete alcoholic fermentation. The wine is racked off fermentation lees before malolactic fermentation. Ageing in tank for 4 months.
