Navarrico chickpeas are produced in Navarra, the garden of Northern Spain.
Conservas Artesanas El Navarrico was established by Hercules Amalia and Jose Salcedo in 1960. Their children and grandchildren now run the business. They process their fruit and vegetables amongst the fertile fields of the Ebro valley, where Navarra meets La Rioja.
These are premium chickpeas have a rich, nutty flavour and thin, tender skins. They are prepared with only water and a little salt - cooked in the same manner as the Spanish do at home. Healthy as well as delicious, they are a rich in protein and particularly high in dietary fibre.
Nutty and creamy, these chickpeas are a great store cupboard standby for mixed bean salads and vegetable stews.

What an incredible jar of chickpeas! Just divine. Addicted to them.
I have never tasted such wonderful garbanzo beans. Bigger than any other brand, tender and flavorful. I think I may never purchase any other brand!
OMG - these are so delicious!! So fluffy and buttery yet they hold their shape!! Absolutely amazing, just like the lentils!! They are nothing like the tinned version!! And I can never go back to tinned chickpeas - it will have to be these or I will have to cook some myself!! That are well worth the money and to be fair the jar will feed 3-4 people!
I will never buy tinned chickpeas again. When you have spent hours cooking a recipe only to have it ruined by hard chickpeas. These are delicious and so soft and yes you can eat them straight from the jar. They are also very healthy and filling
These are the best chickpeas Ive ever tried, smooth, buttery and taste amazing ... cant go back to tinned ones now!
Nothing like any other chickpeas sold in England
