Product Information
Brixton Brewery Low Voltage Session IPA Beer is an easy-drinking, fully-charged session IPA inspired by Brixton-born icon David Bowie. Brewed in South London, this smooth craft beer combines Pale Malt, Dextrin, Caramalt and Oats with Columbus, Mosaic and Simcoe hops to deliver a jolt of citrus and tropical hop flavour in a lighter, sessionable package.
At just 4.3% ABV, Low Voltage is effortlessly drinkable, with all the hop character of a bigger IPA beer at a lower strength. Expect smooth citrus and tropical fruit notes, a rounded malt backbone from added oats, and a clean finish, making this session IPA ideal for long sessions, gigs, gatherings and easy everyday drinking.
The lightning bolt design is a tribute to Bowie's iconic alter-ego Aladdin Sane and his album Low. Bowie spent his early years on Stansfield Road, just behind Brixton town centre, and a mural of his Aladdin Sane alter ego, painted by artist Jimmy C on Morley's Department Store, remains a local landmark and impromptu shrine. Just like the Starman's music, Low Voltage is packed with electrifying flavour at a session-friendly strength, brewed for drinkers who want big IPA character without the big ABV.
Suitable for vegans. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Serve this craft beer chilled for the best taste experience.
Please drink responsibly: The UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week
