Strange Taste

Tastes nothing like maple syrup. I found it to have a very bitter, malty taste similar to black treacle and very strong and overpowering.

Awful!

I've tasted many different maple syrups in my lifetime, and I usually prefer the darker, fuller-flavored ones, so when this was presented by Ocado as an alternative to the one I had originally selected for my cart, I decided to give it a try. I deeply regret it -- a waste of money. It has a very bitter, synthetic taste that overwhelms everything else, with almost no discernible maple flavor. I'm going to have to chuck it straight into the bin.

Delicious depth of flavour

This is now my maple syrup of choice, it’s divine! It has an almost dark caramel flavour followed by a very subtle after-note of woody smokiness. It's the deep maple flavour which is foregrounded rather than the sugariness that you get in lighter varieties, in a similar way to molasses or muscovado vs refined sugar. Other maple syrups I’ve tried have lacked the maple taste so if you like a one with a depth of natural flavour this is it! It's 100% pure and organic too

Disappointing

Bought for the first time and am really disappointed by the product. Awful unatural taste. Very unpleasant
