History
The roots of Cantine Maschio's passion for wine are as old as the vines on the Veneto's hills. The history of Cantine Maschio is also the history of Prosecco, a wine which, with its fresh, light and lively style, has created a new type of drinking geared towards conviviality, the aperitif and the cocktail known as a "spritz".
Regional Information
For the production of our Prosecco D.O.C. Treviso we use fruit from the "historic" zone of the Denomination, which is the best of the vast area in which Glera grapes are grown. In particular, the Vineyards are located in the area of Treviso, north of Venice

Vinification Details
Prosecco D.O.C. Treviso is obtained directly from the must, which undergoes a prise de mousse with selected yeasts for a period of one month at a controlled temperature of 12-15°C. The prise de mousse is stopped by lowering the temperature of the pressurized tank to ensure the desired level of residual sugar.

Impossible to remove cork

No bottle of fizz should need a pair of rubber gloves and 10 minutes huffing and puffing to remove the cork

Do not waste your money !

This is by far the worst prosecco we have ever tasted. In fact, it was so bad that I could not even finish my first glass. My Italian partner says this drink would be called spumante in Italy , not prosecco , as it taste nothing like the real deal. Avoid ,avoid and avoid !

Emperor's new clothes ....

I found this thin ,watery and tasteless compared to some .If I'd paid full price I'd be livid .As it happens it was part of a meal deal so the price it worked out at represented its real value in my estimation .Really not that enjoyable at all....not disgusting ,just not worth buying again .

Tasteless

Very yeasty smell on first opening, nice pale colour and looked like a good amount of fizz but turned out to be just like flat fizzy water! Quite possibly the most tasteless prosecco I have ever had...and I’ve had a lot!
