'I am sorry that so many know Campari just as an ingredient in a Negroni, as a Campari Soda is, for me, the perfect drink. It is, initially, rather too much on the bitter side for many, but it’s that very bitterness that makes it such a compelling and refreshing drink. It should be served in a highball glass with a slice of orange, along with the ice and soda water, but I drink it in a tumbler and with a few sprigs of fresh thyme in place of the orange, and recommend it heartily to you!'
