Welcome back!
Delighted to see that this soup is back in the UK. We use it as a basis for tomato fondue (adding wine, garlic, Gruyere, Emmental and eggs) using a Marguerite Patten recipe from a 1960s cookbook dating from the days when when Gruyere was practically unheard of in British kitchens. Nothing other than this condensed soup works if we want a fondue without a million calories.
