Sweet....
Wanted something to add to my morning porridge, just to give the slightest hint of sweetness without using evil sugar! It is the lightest, softest powder and very little is needed, less than half a teaspoon for a big bowl of oats was plenty. I will buy this again. I don't use sugar in anything else so can't comment on how suitable it would be for other purposes.
Eugh. Chemical Garbage.
Horrible, Chemical Garbage. You really want this stuff inside you?
Perfect for baking
I use this instead of caster sugar and icing sugar in cakes and muffins with great success. An essential in my food cupboard
the search continues
Desperate to cut out sugar i saw the high reviews of this. fizzes when you put it in a hot drink. same old after taste as other sweeteners. its ok on cereals though. looks like i will have to go cold turkey and cut out sugar the old fashioned way.
Can't tell the difference
...between this and real sugar. I use it for coffee and cocoa so it lasts ages. I've yet to try it in cooking but will give it a go.
couldn't tell the difference
I don't usually use sweeteners - or eat lots of sweets to start with - but am on a non-carb diet at the moment so bought this to make all that non-fat yoghurt and frommage frais a little more interesting. I was very pleasantly surprised by the fact that it doesn't have any of the weird aftertaste I expected, in fact I probably couldn't tell the difference between Canderel and real sugar. That makes it great in my book!
