Great taste...
.. minus 1 star for the very annoying package. The beans jus stick to the side. Very hard to extract all of the product.
Mexican
Awful. The first thing you notice when open it is a disgusting smell (of preservatives?). It seems like they used the condiments to try to eliminate the actual taste of black beans. I tried one spoon --I didn't dare to serve it to my family-- and put the in the bin. I tried this when my favourite ones were out of stock but I'll never buy them again.
nice beans, shame about the plastic packaging
Would prefer that these are in a tin than plastic. M&S do refried beans in a small 200g can so why not this brand?
use in the ocado burrito bowl recipe
Ive ordered these to go in the recipe mentioned above. Mixed with plant based mince, chipotle paste and lime juice. Very yummy! I havent eaten on its own. My only complaint is there isnt much in the packet.
black bean family
We are a black bean family over here- refried or not, but these were the grossest black beans weve ever had. I had high hopes for them, but one bite of them and we threw them in the bin.
Better in a tin
Product tastes OK, but packaging is not recyclable. Would be better in a tin.
