Not truly keto

A few others have said it and some others have defended the product. This contains maltitol, which is widely considered not keto-friendly. Yes I know what polyols are and how they work and I know how to calculate net carbs. Maltitol on the other hand is widely considered not to be keto friendly due to the high GI of 52, causing it to be partly broken down into glucose. This means, unlike some other polyols like Erythritol, you cannot subtract the whole polyol number and you effectively miscalculate net carbs. There's a reason many keto products specifically advertise maltitol free and there's a reason this chocolate actually tastes OK- its not truly keto!

It is low carb

Replying to a comment questioning if this is low carb product if it has 50 something g of carbs. Well it is, because most of it is polyols. Polyols are a special kind of carb that (depending on the kind) can't be absorbed by the body. By law they have to count the polyols as part of the carbs on the label- but when you are counting carbs as part of a low carb or keto diet you don't need to count the carbs from the polyols.

I Like It!

I am trying to cut carbs to keep my blood sugar stable ( not diabetic but my blood sugar can stray beyond the level I would like). I wasnt expecting much from this but was pleasantly surprised - I really like it!

not everyones taste

I had high hopes for this chocolate. Everyone else enjoyed it but I thought it tasted slightly artificial.
