History
Carta Roja is range that evokes the flavours and aromas of Spain, showcasing the country's potential to produce well-structured food friendly wines of tremendous value.
Regional Information
The wine is made from organically grown grapes from old bush vines planted near the Cancarix Volcano in Jumilla in southern Spain.

Vinification Details
Porous volcanic soils naturally limit diseases and pests making it ideal for organic viticulture whilst ensuring the vines grow deep to seek nutrients, creating an intense wine, with smooth tannins and ripe dark berry notes typical of the Monastrell grape.

I should read better!

Thought it was a Rioja, but I’m willing to try something new so gave it a go. It has very little about it, I’d maybe use it for putting in food and that’s about it.

Great organic red wine

Had this on New Years Eve with family it was a really lovely smooth red wine enjoyed by all. Would recommend this red wine and although expensive worth it for the occasion.

watery

I received a bottle of this wine from Ocado free of charge. Such a beautiful bottle, and great that its organic- which I prefer. For me unfortunately the wine didnt live up to appearances and I found it rather watery.

Delicious, fruity, full\-bodied organic red wine

Superb with food, like a cotes du rhone, juicy, full-bodied, not too tannin. Excellent value on offer but many better wines at £12

Great buy at £8.00

Good value for money at £8.00 for this full bodied monastrell (mourvedre). Will keep buying at this price, however, when the price rises to £12.00, no.
