Cooking guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled. The best way to heat up our Sticky Toffee Pudding is in a proper oven. Remove the sleeve and take off the lid, pop in a pre-heated conventional oven at 160°C for 15-20 minutes (140°C for fan assisted) until hot. In a hurry... Put a good old chunk, about a quarter of the pudding in a bowl, place in the microwave (Cat D / 750W) and heat on high for around 40 seconds.

Once opened use within 5 days if lid is replaced and stored in a refrigerator. Suitable for home freezing but eat within 6 months and completely defrost before heating.

Sticky Toffee Pudding
Cartmel is home to a 12th century Priory and an historic racecourse that runs right past the shop and, we are now proud to say it is also the home of Sticky Toffee Pudding, the first commercially available pudding to re-heat at home. We started baking them almost 40 years ago on a very small scale and word soon travelled far and wide. With increased demand we had to move to a bigger bakery just down the road. Our puddings are still made in small batches and we feel there's nothing to match them.
