Nice n spicy
This is really tasty, with a real kick to it. So nice to find a pesto that isn't full of pine nuts and parmesan too. Only need a small amount on pasta so doesn't work out too expensive - am sure there are uses I haven't thought of yet!
Love it
I really enjoy this pesto. It's a nice change from the regular pestos and has a nice kick to it. For anyone who doesn't enjoy spicy foods (or kids) you can easily tone it down with some vegan creme fraiche.
Top marks
Quality pesto - lovely kick but not overpowering. Turns bland into tasty. I buy it every week and stir it through brown pasta twists, add a bit of mozzarella and serve it with garlic bread. Easy and satisfying.
Tried it and now can't live without it
Staple midweek pasta, just got interesting. I think I maybe a little bit addicted to this, used it this evening to make a spicy vegan chorizo pasta dish, using the M&S Chorizo puppies... it was amazing! Works just as well on its own with freshly boiled pasta. I also added this to a toastie I made last week... game changer.
I especially liked the aubergine
This is a tasty, substantial mix that we appreciated with pasta, though it could be used to enhance all sorts of dishes. Expensive, but worth it for adding quality to simple cooking.
