A classic Malbec but from Argentian. One of the best examples from South America. Perfect with the roast.
For more than four generations, the Catena family has been growing grapes at the foot of the Andes mountains in Mendoza, Argentina. Laura Catena, great grand-daughter of founder Nicola Catena, selects the most concentrated grapes to create a Malbec with powerful black fruit aromatics and the smooth lengthy finish that has become the family's signature trademark.

a go-to Malbec
Drinkable and tasty Malbec. Great value!!
We got the 2016 vintage. Lovely rich, fruity malbec, perfect with red meat and a good deal at around a tenner.
This was a lovely bottle of wine. Full bodied and juicy. We enjoyed with well hung fillet steak from our local farm. Will buy again
This is advertised as being 2013 both the photo and the description say 2013... and what they they send you is 2015. There is a lot of difference. Due to the nature of this inaccuracy I am reporting them for misrepresentation of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968 that is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom which prevents manufacturers, retailers or service industry providers from misleading consumers as to what they are spending their money on. ... False descriptions. They are culpable.
Best Malbec we had for years
I had stopped drinking Malbec as I could not find a really good one in a decent price but this one worths the money and we had many compliments for our wine in the last few dinners we had at home. A safe present as well !
This has got to be the worse bottle of wine Ive ever had. Nobody at my dinner party could drink this.
