Product Information

Despite a cool summer, the key ripening period during September and October was warm, dry and sunny giving fruit of good quality across the south-east of England. This blend has classic aromas of green apple, freshly cut grass, citrus and white peach supported by a creamy mouthfeel. On the palate there are flavours of elderflower and nectarine with a smooth texture and a fresh finish.

Vinification details

Fruit is sourced from vineyards in Kent (97%), East Sussex (2%), and Essex (1%). Grapes are grown predominantly on single and double guyot pruning systems, on varied soils including, chalk, clay and loam soils. Fruit is whole-bunch pressed and vinified in stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain aromatic delicacy. The wine was blended, clarified and bottled in March 2023.
