Thumbs up from me!
I bought this gin based on the previous reviews and I was very pleased I did. Added bonus was that it was on offer.
lost juniper
I agree with Steve, the Juniper is lost in the cinnamon and nutmeg, which is a shame, because the quality of the spirit is very good. Sip it neat and it is not harsh but tastes of nutmeg. With standard tonic it tastes like it's aromatic tonic. So the quality is there, but it's not for me.
Fabulous
Im big on the gin, tried most, but Im quite happy with a Gordons & Dubonnet or Gordons with tonic (Im fussy about the tonic, theres NOTHING to match San Pellegrino). My hus got me this gin for my birthday- recommended somewhere & he hit on the extra spices as something I - I had it neat, expecting the paint stripper effect but NO, delicious, I wouldnt mix it with anything, odd dash of SP perhaps on occasion, but, no, this is lovely - a sipper not a quaffer
Phenomenal gin
This gin is absolutely excellent; very smooth, very clean in flavour. We serve it plenty of ice, and a slice of ginger, as advised on the company's website. A steady guest in our drinks cabinet.
Nutmeg overload
The nutmeg overpowers everything else except the cinnamon which is also too forward. Not my taste at all
completely delicious
Smooth and full flavoured gin, one of my new favourites. Tried it first in a swish London bar, and had to buy a bottle immediately.
