History

The Château and the outbuildings date respectively from the 18th and 19th centuries. Among its illustrious owners, it boasts Monsieur de Bethman who was mayor of Bordeaux, and the Clauzel family. It is on this privileged site, extending from the terroir of Moulis, that the 78 hectares or so of the estate Château du
Cartillonare cultivated. Cap l'Ousteau is the second wine of the Château du Cartillon and is given the same attention as its prestigious elder.
