Tasting Notes
A delicate Provence Rosé with summery notes of nectarine, fresh strawberry and raspberry. Fresh and pleasantly balanced with a light finish.
History
An historical property dating back to the 11th century with over 3 centuries of winemaking tradition, Château de Berne covers over 500 hectares of land, of which about 130 hectares are vineyards.
Regional Information
Located in the inland Haut Var, Château de Berne's slightly higher altitude and diurnal range make it one of the best areas in Provence to produce premium rosé.

Vinification Details
Direct pressing, cold decanting and fermentation in vats between 16 and 18C. Short maturation to preserve the wine's fruity flavours.

We poured this away- we have never had a wine this bad before which was not actually corked. Undrinkable.

Was so looking forward to trying this after the other reviews and wanted to love it - i am a fan of the mediteranee and Provence rose wines - but just found it quite disappointing. On the positive side, there was definitely a minerally dry side to it which was nice, but i couldnt find any other flavours in it. So Im afraid i am scoring it a 3. I wouldnt buy it again, but wouldnt object if someone poured me a glass.

Lovely, refreshing and perfect for summer

I love this wine. Goes perfectly at a summer bbq and definitely my go-to. Also has a lovely bubble effect in the bottle itself that I reuse for table water!

Very Nice Provenćale

I’m selective with rosés and tend to stay with Provenćale and this was all of that. Mild with summer fruits and very drinkable. I’ll absolutely buy this again.

Delightful and refreshing

This wine has such a delightful finish. It is mineral and clean, yet subtle flavours come forward in a delightful balanced and full flavoured way. the bottle also reveals a delightful pattern as you make your way through!
