On this land between heaven and earth, Lissane and Bertrand Loyer lovingly tend their precious vine. Château Fonties produces an engaging wine, bright red in colour with a bouquet of fruity jelly - redcurrant, Grenache and raspberry-together with mild spice and a hint of wood. On the palate, the wine is fresh and airy with a long finish. Served at 18-20°C, Château Fonties goes wonderfully well with red meat, game, dishes in sauce or cheese.

Despite reviews a really nice drop!
Had actually been buying a while and saw it was on offer... then clocked the really low reviews and had to double check it was the wine I liked! It's a lovely Corbieres, not too creamy and not too heavy, I don't know about tannins etc but I don't get a hangover from it ) We've always got 2 or 3 bottles in the wine rack.
Awful. Went straight down the sink
No depth or character, resembled vinegar. I'm surprised to see it retailed on here, this is my first dreadful bottle. Cant imagine a palette that would approve!
A fine wine, full-bodied but not overpowering. A lot of sediment but mellow tannins. Just leave the bottle to stand for 24 hours before drinking.
The wine was oxidised and had thrown a very heavy sediment.
