Tasting Notes
The wine has a beautiful pale, petal-pink colour, with bright nuances. On the nose, it exudes aromas of fresh redcurrants, rose and zesty lemon. It finishes with a refreshing acidity, minerality and a long, saline finish.
History
Miraval vineyard, nestled in the heart of Provence, boasts a rich history dating back to Roman times. Originally a monastery, it later became a refuge for artists and intellectuals. In 2008, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie purchased the estate, revitalizing the vineyards. With a commitment to quality and sustainability, Miraval now produces acclaimed wines, including its iconic rosé, blending tradition with innovation to capture the essence of Provence in every bottle.
Regional Information
Blessed with abundant sunshine and a Mediterranean climate, Provence is celebrated for its picturesque landscapes and ancient winemaking heritage. The vineyards of Miraval benefit from the region's diverse terroir, featuring limestone soils and cooling maritime influences. This unique combination yields grapes of exceptional quality, resulting in a crisp, elegant rosé that captures the essence of Provence's terroir.

Vinification Details
Handpicked grapes, predominantly Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle, and Syrah, are gently pressed to extract the delicate juice. Fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures to preserve the vibrant fruit flavors. The wine rests on lees for added complexity before blending. Finally, it's fined and filtered to ensure clarity and purity, resulting in a beautifully balanced rosé that embodies the essence of Provence's terroir.
