Chateau Troupian Haut Medoc

Château Troupian is part of the Lestage Simon estate and covers 40 hectares located all around the property. Haut-Médoc enjoys a long-standing reputation, which is maybe even better established than that of Médoc itself. This reputation is due to the fact that since it is closer to Bordeaux its vineyard was highlighted right from the 18th century and estate-owners and business people alike have used it to their advantage.. Château Troupian wine is very feminine and slightly woody with tasty fruit aromas.

Up to 7 years reflecting the above notes. After this period, the wine will show more mature characteristics.

Château Troupian offers a very strong and bright purple colour, with purple shades. Complex, the nose delivers spicy fruit aromas added with notes of coffee and cedar. Soft palate, well-balanced and

persistent, Château Troupian exalts hints of bigarreau and chocolate. The finish is medium-long.

69% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc

This region extends over about sixty kilometres, on the left banks of the Garonne and Gironde rivers, to the north of Bordeaux. The vineyard comprises a pretty, limestone-shale area, ideally orientated and entirely suited to the development of the main grape variety planted here, Merlot

Serve with grilled lamb, roasted red meatse or cheeses.

Traditional in thermoregulated stainless steel vats.
