Preparation and Usage
Ingredients:
50ml Chivas 12
150ml soda water
Orange zest, to garnish
Method:
Add Chivas 12 into a highball glass, add 100ml of soda, then slowly fill the glass to the top with ice. Add the remaining soda and give it a small stir to make sure it's mixed. Add a little more ice to make sure it's full and compact for best quality, then garnish with orange zest.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy served with ice and soda in a highball glass.

A great blended malt whisky
I have to say I'm usually more of a fan of single malts, but this blended alternative has been a revelation for me- the 12 years of ageing really make for a lovely, rounded flavour. You could mix it or put it in a cocktail, but why dilute this whisky- I enjoyed mine neat, maybe with the occasional cube of ice!
Blended to perfection
This is all the proof you need to show that blended malts can be every bit as good as single malts (and in many cases - better). This is 100% 12 year old aged (as a minimum) and I'm a great fan of it. Definitely a Whisky to be tasted for itself. Of course it will go well in cocktails but why add anything except maybe a drop of water or an ice cube. This is for Whisky lovers. The box design make it suitable as a present (always welcome here). Chevas is not a "single malt" which gives the expert blenders their head to create. Recommended.

Smooth and Warming
A lovely, smooth and warming whisky. I enjoy this best served straight over ice where you can taste the delicate sweeter notes of honey and butterscotch. Comes in a lovely box, so makes a great gift too.
Evening treat!
We tried this whisky last night after dinner and it was lovely! Sweet undertone, was lovely neat and with coca cola! Would buy again as a gift.
