great for descaling
I usually buy the cardboard boxes of this stuff which is much cheaper, but which can harden or clump. This plastic tub is far better and I confess Ill be refilling it with the cheaper cardboard boxes of it. Citric acid is citric acid whatever the packaging.

I dont know about other people, but my cupboard under the sink is quite damp what with scrubbing brushes and cloths etc, and things in cardboard boxes tend to fall apart and get ruined. There are some cleaning products that really do need a plastic bottle or tub and this is one of them! Cant understand people knocking off a star for this being in plastic.
The Best Clean Ever!
I love this product because it really works! Everything I have cleaned, kitchen sink, very greasy hob and oven, bathroom, has a beautiful shine. It descales the kettle far better than the very strong chemical products available and that is saying something in our area which suffers from the worst hard water I have ever known! I'm using it for everything now and am making my own fabric softener - add 200g citric acid to 800ml water in a bottle and shake well. Fill softener compartment to normal level.
Pure citric acid
I mean, this is just great - 100% pure citric acid to help you around the house. For any reviews below 5 stars, I do wonder if people even realise what is being bought :)
