"I don’t just love Clarence Court eggs, I positively luxuriate in them. Their Burford Browns are an essential regular on my weekly Ocado – their brown shells make me feel as if I’m living a rural idyll with my own beautiful brood of chickens – though all of them are fantastic, and I definitely have a soft spot, too, for the poetically coloured Legbar Blues. But all the varieties, with their gorgeous, deep-toned golden yolks, have a depth of flavour that turns the simplest everyday meal into a banquet. The only problem about them is that they’ve utterly ruined me for all other eggs: once you’ve had these poached, soft-boiled or scrambled on toast, you’ll see what I mean!"

A case of outright cheating
I have been ordering these eggs for a while now and I have been happy with the quality, although I found the shell too weak with pieces always getting in the cooking. Last week I was sent a box, which no longer indicates the size of the eggs and it had eggs that were S or XS in size. Yet the price was in line with Large eggs. I find this very disturbing. Small eggs are OK, and even an elevated price we can live with, but do write about this clearly!
Great eggs
Delicious with a lovely golden yolk
Big, deep orange yolks, Delicious
Really high quality eggs. The yolks were huge and a deep orange colour. Worth the extra cost.
Good, golden eggs
The best organic eggs I've tried. Gorgeous golden colour and always great quality

Great yolks!
The yolks are large and dark yellow/orange. Really tasty but the price is a little high. Still, they're a nice treat!
