Waste of money. Even when half price.
Best frozen prawns we've tried
Terrific texture, great flavour, nice size. Juicy, plump and just what a (frozen) prawn should deliver. Plus whatever the freezing technique is used, it means that each prawn comes out individually, not as a congealed clump. Easy to count out portions. Definitely worth the slightly higher cost. My new favourite.
These prawns are great, say juice and fat when cooked, but be warned you do need to cook these properly, else they risk being under cooked. Great in Curries, Stir Fries and Paellas. Would not use them in a prawn cocktail or served cold.
Bought these prawns for a paella. So disappointed!! They are warm water prawns - had I realised I would never have ordered them. Was so embarrassed serving them to my family. I threw out one bag after cooking them in garlic butter. They tasted horrible - they dont taste good however you cook them.
What a bargain 400 grams for £4 on offer. So so good, large juicy and tasty. Will be looking out for these again
Big plump prawns
These were probably the best frozen prawns we have had. Unlike others, which shrink to nothing on cooking, these stayed big and plump and juicy and were more than enough for two of us. A bit expensive at full price, they are well worth getting on offer.
