This delicious Merlot is sourced from select vineyards in California growing regions. The 2019 growing season experienced a wet spring that slightly delayed budbreak and consistently mild conditions that continued through harvest. As a result, the fruit experienced longer hangtimes, gradually accumulating sugar, flavor concentration and optimal balance.

This deep ruby red Merlot showcases aromas of dark fruit, mocha and toasted oak. Notes of blackberry, plum, and black cherry with hints of vanilla and baking spice are unveiled on the rich, silky palate.

Rich and fruity

The wine was fermented on the skins in a stainless steel tank for eight days and pumped over three times a day. At the end of fermentation, lots were pressed and racked onto oak to undergo malolactic fermentation and aged on a mixture of French and American oak for minimum of 6 months.
