Heavenly whiskey
I bought this mostly for my husband as I am not much of a whiskey drinker, but this was so amazing I kept drinking a small glass on an evening. I will keep buying this.
Almost an Irish Islay
I adore Islay malts from Scotland, so when I saw this Irish peated single malt I had to try it. I was amazed for what I paid. This is a smooth & well rounded malt, oaky & with a slight almost sherried taste, add to that a good but not overpowering peatiness & this is an absolute winner for me. We got through half a bottle between 4 of us in one night, so I think I will have to buy another bottle soon.
delightful
Its obviously going to be peaty in taste, as its a peated whiskey. Its a great price, tastes more like £40+. Sweet as youd expect from an Irish whiskey, nice balance with the smoke. Very easy drinker.
Best Irish whiskey
peated, smooth, amazing whiskey, especially for its price
tastes of peat
packaging and presentation is beautiful. the whiskey itself is VERY peaty. I gave this as a gift which looked really impressive until we all tasted it. If you like very earthy flavours then you're fine!
