Light \x26 fruity

I received this as a free sample by Ocado in return for a review. For me this is more of a wine to drink in Summer on the patio. It is a pleasant enough drink for the price if the premium added for it being organic is important to you. Nothing complex about this, but it's light and quaffable.

OK but not amazing

Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I think taking into the premium you pay for an organic version its probably on a par with similar non-organinc £4-5 bottles. . Must admit I prefer something more full bodied but even taking this into account it was a little harsh for a lighter red.

Decent wine

I am reviewing this item as I received a free sample from Ocado to review. A nicely balanced wine. I do like fuller body wines, but found this to be really nice. I would buy it.

Disappointing

I was sent this free by Ocado in return for a review. We were, sadly, very disappointed with this wine; It was the 2020 vintage. We did not detect any discernable aroma of fruit and even less taste. It was quite acidic, with earthy and peppery notes with a fair degree of lip sucking tannins. None of us were able to finish it , quite the achievement in our house ! Not one for us to buy again...certainly not this vintage anyway .

A lighter red

I am reviewing this item as I received a free sample from Ocado to review. Being from the Pinot grape it is quite light so avoid this one if you prefer full bodied red wines. It unquestionably was drinkable but I think a little overpriced- the price is probably because it is organic which will be a draw for those who prefer organic products. There are certainly times when a lighter wine is a decent addition to a meal but it is very much down to individual preferences
