Can't complain
These seem just as good as branded ones but are better value
BIG peppercorns
Maybe I got lucky but these were so big and sooo flavoursome. Black pepper is my favourite spice of all time so I’m careful with what I buy. Delicious
Cacio e pepe
I grinded these in pestle and mortar and used in a cacio e pepe recipe. I will use the rest in my pepper grinder
As good as Barts
and well above East End, with a far fresher, fuller aroma and taste. East End products are bottom of the barrel, the chaff discarded by quality spice providers. Given how long spices last, it really is worth spending more because they will transform your cooking.
A fine blend of quality peppers
The M&S blenders have created a blend which tastes not too dissimilar to the East End brand of peppercorns. The principle advantage over East End is that the M&S version has superior cupboard-friendly packaging.
