Ideal for Indian meals
As an Asian this combination is perfect for fried meats.
Never again
Strangest mixed spice I’ve ever bought- and I use a lot. Large ‘bits’ in it - I used in poached pears for porridge - almost inedible!
Dreadful
Not fit to add to baking products. The spice is badly milled and very woody. Buy Ocado own brand there spices and herbs a far better.
Gritty
Has unpleasant gritty bits in in which I think are orange peel. Not one to buy again.
Good for baking
Whilst this is no good for hot drinks due to the small bits of dried orange, the lovely aroma and depth of this spice mix make it really delicious for cakes and porridge. A nice change from the usual mixes.
Not happy with the hard bits of orange.
I bought this without looking as I assumed that it was just straightforward ground mixed spice for my baking. However, for my taste, the course hard bits of dried orange don't add anything. I also used mixed spice in milky drinks and mulled wine, unfortunately this won't dissolve away. So far the only M and S product I haven't been pleased with
