Too light

The tangy flavour is too citrusy, rather than deep and complex. Disappointing - I've had far better from other cheaper supermarkets.

Trade Description!

Tamarind paste with only 34% tamarind? This is a joke.

Awful

Waitrose used to sell a good tamarind concentrate but, sadly, ceased stocking it over a year ago. Their tamarind paste seems to be the best of a bad bunch, but it's still poor, with a strongly acidic taste and far too little tamarind itself. Please, Ocado, stock a decent tamarind concentrate!

Tastes like vinegar- nothing like tamarind paste

This product is a real disappointment. It tastes like vinegar, without the depth of flavour of tamarind pastes that you can get. It doesn't work in asian dishes.

A good one

My husband has tried just about every tamarind paste he can get his hands on for his Goan Prawn Curry dish and this one is right up there with the best of them
