Inspired by the laden hedgerows that dot the Cotswolds in later summer, our Cotswolds Hedgerow Gin combines our award-winning Cotswolds Dry Gin with the finest local fruit and berries for a fragrant gin bursting with fruit, it is lightly sweetened to create a gin bursting with flavour and deliciousness - think of a fruity sloe gin.

Carefully sourced ingredients:

Sloes, Elderberries, Damsons, Plums and Blackberries - these fruits and berries are handpicked from the hedgerows of the Cotswolds in the late summer and early autumn, and their juices are added into our Dry Gin.

Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery was born from a dream to produce authentic and outstanding natural spirits in one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

Our distillery opened it’s doors in 2014 and is the first full-scale distillery within the Cotswolds - a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. From single malt whiskies to gins and liqueurs, everything Cotswolds Distillery makes is about quality and flavour above all else. We strive for excellence and we’re incredibly proud of what we achieve. So as we excitedly enter our 10th year of Cotswolds distilling, why not come along on our journey of bringing English spirits to life? Our whisky is distilled using local malting barley, grown for us on farms across the Cotswolds. We support local agriculture, and we value our close relationships with our farmers.

The Cotswolds distillery was born from a dream to produce Outstanding Natural Spirits in one of the most beautiful regions in the world. We are the first and only distillery within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our rural site showcases the best this wonderful region has to offer. We're very proud of our small but perfectly formed distillery here in the Cotswolds. We're open every day for tours, and we invite you to come and see how our whisky is made.

We source the finest casks from around the world for our whisky, including first-fill bourbon barrels from Kentucky, wine barriques from France & Portugal and sherry casks from Spain. All barrels are used for full-term maturation, not cask finishing. We use our barrels only once.

We respect our beautiful surroundings and are committed to protecting our environment. Our spent grains feed local cows, our stillage is turned into biogas, and solar energy helps power our distillery.

Cotswolds Hedgerow gin & Elderflower Tonic

Ingredients:
50ml Cotswolds Hedgerow Gin
150ml Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic
1 Blackberry to garnish

Method: Fill a large coupe glass with ice, pour over our hedgerow gin and top with elderflower tonic water. Garnish with a blackberry.

Bold, fruit and fragrant with notes of sweet blackberry, baked plums, elderberries and sloes, a backbone of herbal spice and piney juniper, and our signature, unctuous mouthfeel.

We try, where possible, to emphasise the rich agricultural bounty of the Cotswolds.
