Brand details
Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery was born from a dream to produce authentic and outstanding natural spirits in one of the most beautiful regions in the world.
Our distillery opened it’s doors in 2014 and is the first full-scale distillery within the Cotswolds - a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. From single malt whiskies to gins and liqueurs, everything Cotswolds Distillery makes is about quality and flavour above all else. We strive for excellence and we’re incredibly proud of what we achieve. So as we excitedly enter our 10th year of Cotswolds distilling, why not come along on our journey of bringing English spirits to life? Our whisky is distilled using local malting barley, grown for us on farms across the Cotswolds. We support local agriculture, and we value our close relationships with our farmers.
The Cotswolds distillery was born from a dream to produce Outstanding Natural Spirits in one of the most beautiful regions in the world. We are the first and only distillery within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our rural site showcases the best this wonderful region has to offer. We're very proud of our distillery here in the Cotswolds and open every day for tours!
We source the finest casks from around the world for our whisky, including first-fill bourbon barrels from Kentucky, wine barriques from France & Portugal and sherry casks from Spain. All barrels are used for full-term maturation, not cask finishing. We use our barrels only once.
We respect our beautiful surroundings and are committed to protecting our environment. We launched our Wetlands Ecological Treatment System in 2024. The Wetlands will naturally process 3/4 of the waste water from the Distilleries whisky making creating a bio diverse habitate for wildlife as well as reducing the number of tanker trucks and traffic.

Made In the Cotswolds
The Cotswolds is hugely important to us; in fact, it defines every aspect of our being. We feel extremely lucky to live in one of England's most charming and beloved regions, full of character, romance and history. We try, where possible, to emphasise the rich agricultural bounty of the Cotswolds. The principle things that grow in the Cotswolds are fruits and grains, and these are the building blocks of our flavour profiles.

Best enjoyed on its own. But we don’t believe in rules when it comes to drinking whisky – sip this neat, over ice, in a cocktail – however you like!
