I had to check the date on the packet (there was a year to go!) as the taste was so unpleasant! They have a sort of dark flavour, not very sweet. They are dark too but I was expecting that - I chose them because they don't have the sulphate preservatives, but still, they don't taste like apricots to me. I'll use them in baking rather than snacks.
not what I expected
I was a bit shocked by the dark brown colour, but realise it is because these are not treated with chemicals. I really wanted to like them, but sadly after managing to eat about 5 of them I really couldn't face eating any more. They are very juicy / moist - not what I expected from dried fruit. They are very sweet, and texture was not at all pleasant. These will go out to feed the birds, sorry but not for me at all.
A good product, which I buy on a regular basis.
A great treacly flavour, can taste the quality, soft enough and a filling snack
I really wanted to like these apricots. I just couldn't. They were floury and pasty rather than tasty and chewy. Quite disappointing.
Delicious, soft and juicy.
