Didn't hold out much hope of this being nice but my husband has just been told to eat low fodmap so no cake! I made this as it has no nasties in it and would hopefully make him miss cake less...it is almost indistinguishable from my homemade banana bread. I added some dark chocolate chips to jazz it up abit but its lovely! Will be making this again!
i was pleasantly surprised how nice this turned out. I added egg, butter and some water. It did rise well.
Received free from Ocado to review. My daughter baked this with my help and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great banana bread. Only criticism is it didn't rise much so wasn't much of a loaf.
I cant eat wheat, but dont miss baked goods, so when Ocado sent it through to try, I put it in a cupboard for a rainy day. I made it with butter and no egg. It rose very little, which is strange as theres a really strange baking powder aftertaste, and a slightly gritty texture. I think if I ever fancy banana bread again, Ill make it from scratch with wheat free flour.
very easy to make
Really easy to make. I made it with the egg and it was soft and pleasantly dense. Only given 3 stars as I did not like the flavours of the gluten free flour which the bananas did not quite cover up
