Organic Wholeblend Piadina with
Mozzarella, Tomato & Pesto
Ingredients
2 Wholeblend Piadina
1 ball fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
Handful mixed cherry tomatoes
Bunch fresh watercress
Fresh basil pesto
Extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Method:
1. Warm the Piadina
Follow on-pack instructions to heat 2 Piadina until soft and flaky.
2. Prepare the Filling
While the Piadina are still warm, place slices of mozzarella on one half of each Piadina.
3. Add Tomatoes & Watercress
Layer the colourful cherry tomatoes over the mozzarella.
Top with a handful of fresh watercress.
4. To Finish
Drizzle everything with basil pesto and good quality extra virgin olive oil. Add a pinch of salt and a twist of black pepper if desired.
5. Fold & Serve
In true Italian style, fold the Piadina and cut in half.
Serve immediately while warm.
