Toast a slice of bread and lightly rub one side with peeled garlic. Place cut ripe tomatoes and basil on the toast. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt & pepper.
We had this two ways: toasted and buttered with scrambled eggs and bacon. I also made French toast (eggy bread with sugar, vanilla, cinnamon - fried in butter) and served with syrup. We have enough left for avocado toast. Its really lovely stuff.
This bread makes the worlds best toast. Especially if you rub some olive oil, garlic powder and seasoning on it, and cook it on a griddle pan. Itll be soft in the centre, and crunchy on the sides and crusts. Yum!
