Toast a slice of bread and lightly rub one side with peeled garlic. Place cut ripe tomatoes and basil on the toast. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt & pepper.
I was really excited to try this but it was horribly disappointing. I toasted it with garlic butter to make my own garlic bread and it was horrible. Overly chewy, far too hard and lacking in flavour. It was so horrible that I stopped eating it and had regular toast instead. It might make nice bruschetta at a push but wouldn’t be nice for anything else.
This bread is fab for toasting and tastes great with butter and jam, Nutella, mushrooms or scrambled eggs! Freezes well too. Received from ocado to review but have to say I have been buying this one for a while and will definitely continue to do so!
