Preparation and Usage
| Defrosting:
Remove prawns from packaging and defrost in a refrigerator, once defrosted
use within 24 hours. Once defrosted do not refreeze.Grill Instructions: Grill - Chilled - 8-10 mins Grill from defrost. Preheat grill. Drain excess liquid from the prawns and place on a grill pan or tray. Grill on a medium/high heat. Turn halfway through cooking. Remove from the grill pan or tray. shell, season as required and serve. Shallow Fry Instructions: Pan fry - chilled - 6-7 mins For best results pan fry from defrost. Preheat a little oil in a pan. Drain excess liquid from the prawns and place in the pan. Fry on a medium/high heat. Turn halfway through cooking. Remove from the pan and drain any excess oil. season as required and serve. |

Amazingly fresh and a good size
They are expensive but always add them to the shopping list - theyre so juicy and fresh once theyre cooked.

Best ones on the market. Dont shrink when cooked. Very little water in them. Juicy and meaty. Wouldnt buy any other frozen ones

Quality product
First time writing a review about prawns of all things! But I felt compelled to spread the word. I have a thing about never ordering dishes containing prawns in a restaurant because you can ever tell if they clean the prawns properly (intestine) especially if they are covered in a sauce. I learned the hard way... So, I normally prepare and cook them myself at home. Ordered these Black Tiger Prawns and I was not disappointed. Delicious and a good size (also seemed to be a little larger than other supermarket brands). BUT, the reason I am leaving such a glowing review is because each and every one of them were pre-cleaned to perfection! I was fully prepared for a long 30mins cleaning session when I discovered that one after the other were perfectly cleaned (back and front). Definitely on my list again this week! :-)
