Ethical! Though too strongly scented for me.
I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Smells divine but I cannot tolerate too strongly scented things owing to a severe health condition - had thought this would be mild as it's credentials are great - Paraben free, SLS free, as well as 100% Natural & Naturally derived, but it is strongly scented. The scent is heavenly, just too strong for me and I get reactions to do only with my severe health condition. But what a wonderful Company! This is not written on the Ocado Website, and really should be for it's unique sellling point and more importantly, it's ethical stance that will greatly appeal to many - written on the side of the box is "CONNECT THE DOTS. Daughter of the Soil is on a mission to make a real difference to the lives and future of marginalised women farmers across Africa, providing them with an ability to earn a sustainable and protected income". Therefore I recommend to all, just I ersonally for individual reason have a problem with the strong scent.
not worth the money
The quality of this cream is as good as an average high street product and no better. The 'white mulberry' scent is close to a particular bodily odour but thankfully either it wears off or you becomes immune to it and it becomes a problem for people around you. Unfortunately I don't dislike anyone enough to give it to them so I'm going to try to mask the smell with a carrier oil and drops of essential oil.
I have very sensitive skin and dry eczema all my life. So it is extremely hard to find the natural product which doesn't aggravate the skin. This one is just amazing, it sinks beautifully, moisturised, smells and feels so natural. I have recommended to all my friends. Thanks to Ocado to this amazing find.
Once you manage to squeeze some out -I would expect pump dispenser on product this price- it does what it should. However it is very expensive and doesn’t feel that special.
I would use this all the time
My daughter and I both have sensitive skin and used this cream for 1 week and notice a difference in our skin...softer and smoother. It smells lovely, and contains Baobab's Oil which encourages healthy skin...and we both really noticed the difference.. We would definitely recommend this product. The ONLY issue I could find is the dispenser....and the price ! otherwise I would use this all the time.
Too thick, weird smell
Was given a voucher code to review this product, which was great, especially as it comes with quite a hefty price tag. Took me ages to get the cream out as it is quite thick and the smell is weird, almost musty. Does leave your skin feeling nice and the ethical label makes it a worthwhile purchase, but not at full price.
