LOVE FOR FOOD INSPIRES US TO GO FURTHER
We've been farming organically for over 35 years, meaning our animals enjoy their natural grass and forage-based diet, growing into strong and healthy animals, free from unnecessary chemicals, antibiotics and GM feed.
We choose British breeds who thrive in their native landscape and encourage healthy biodiversity on our farm. We avoid waste of any kind, so manure and kitchen waste compost are returned to the soil as rich natural fertilisers. We have built our own abattoir to ensure the highest animal welfare and reduced food miles, which results in better tasting meat, and we spread our message far beyond the boundaries of our own fields.
Each step of our journey is made with a conscience, and a love for food.

Got at half price in a flash sale. Good quality, baked well, would recommend.
average and ridiculously expensive
7£ full price for 2 chicken legs is ridiculous. If at least they were worth it..
I usually buy organic chicken from the farmers market because its particularly flavourful. This was anything but. It tasted like nothing, and the texture was a bit soft. Dont be fooled by flash sale pricing, its not good.
Tough old bird !
Bought these in a flash sale. As many have said before despite being thoroughly cooked they were tough. Nice flavour but really tough to chew. Would not purchase again. Don't waste your money.
Massive price hike?!?!
Have bought this chicken over and over again only to notice the massive price increase this month!! Such a shame because chicken is lovely. Will be shopping elsewhere till this is reviewed.
Regular buy, good flavour and versitile
I often buy these as they are resonably priced for Organic and have a good flavour. We had ours this week pan fried in a little oil and butter until the skin was golden, adding finely chopped onion, celery and carrot then doused in white wine on high heat with garlic and Tarragon along with a small cup of 'Marigold low salt' stock. Then brought down to a gentle simmer with lid on to braise for a good 30-40 minutes - taking the legs out to rest, reducing the sauce down to intensify the flavour - all resulting in a really tasty dish!
