My wife and I both enjoy this, not too sour, spicy but nice and flavoursome
Shame - love an onion chutney but this brought nothing to the party. Slightly sour and otherwise a bit bereft of flavour.
Perfect, slightly sweet, slightly fruity chutney. Very easy to eat and went down well with all my guests.
Wasn't what I was expecting
Have to mix it with something to give it a more defined taste. Wont be buying it again. The only Ocado product I have disliked.
Gone in the bin
I bought this on the basis of the reviews. Having now tried the product, I'm really surprised by them. This was my second Daylesford purchase. I hated the first, and threw it in the bin, and ditto with this. I'm not even a fussy eater, and extremely rarely do I throw 'good' food away. This is much too sweet, with no savoury, and it's face-pullingly bitter, and I mean bitter rather than tart. Those are the only two aspects to it, which make it one dimensional, with no depth or flavours of any kind coming through. I couldn't taste anything except sweet and bitter. Deeply unpleasant.
this is the best chutney I've ever tasted- now it's out of stock!
