Regional information
The fruit is sourced from De Bortoli's vineyards in New South Wales. A warm dry summer meant that botrytis didn't appear until after the rains in early May 2018. Some foggy mornings helped botrytis to spread throughout the dedicated vineyards before being harvested in late May.
Tasting notes
This wine offers vibrant notes of citrus and nectarine, layered with hints of glacé and honeyed fruit. Subtle French oak imparts a touch of nutty vanilla, while a bright underlying acidity balances the sweetness, delivering a fresh and refined finish.

Serving suggestions
Serve well-chilled, ideally between 8–10°C. This luscious dessert wine pairs beautifully with rich cheeses like blue cheese or aged cheddar, fruit-based desserts such as peach tart or apricot pudding.

Vinification details
The fruit was harvested in late May when botrytis had fully set in. After a careful selection of grapes and gentle pressing, the juice was fermented in stainless steel with a small portion in French oak.
