It’s much better than any other pasta I’ve tried and it’s worth paying a bit more for. I’m really glad I can find it discounted quite often.
Really is better
Once we tried this brand, we couldn't go back to store-brand pasta - de cecco is so much tastier! Excellent value when it's on offer, too.
There are no bad things to say about De Cecco pasta, ever since I bought it years ago because it was on offer I have stuck to it and won't buy another brand now. It stays firm even if you overcook, and has a lovely flavour. Some good Italian restaurants use it rather than bother to make their own, which pretty much tells you all you need to know.
Would definitely recommend!
Very tasty, worth paying the extra over own brand.
I used to buy another supermarkets own brand fusilli as it was a little cheaper, but this is well worth the few extra pence. You can definitely tell that this is a better quality pasta, you get a really nice big and light twist shape with this pasta, rather than the tight little twists with some other brands. Holds the pasta sauce well too. I won't be buying another brand now I've tried this
