This pasta shape was undoubtedly invented to stimulate the imagination of children who commonly eat this pasta in baby food and vegetable soups. The pasta is shaped like a star and is small and appealing.

Lovely in soup
Really like this so smooth and comforting in soup!
I loved how it soaked into my soup when cooked then left and reheated. And the shapes are just so cute!
love this pasta
I love the taste and texture of this pasta. I use it to make a cross between an Italian soup and stew. very delicious. always good to have in the cupboard
my favourite- pretty pasta!
I love this pasta. Its so pretty and I add to all sorts of soup to make it more filling
Great for anyone..especially great for children. .
Great taste and texture. Not only for soup!
I tried this because it was on offer and it has filled a gap in my 'quick lunch' repertoire. For example, in the six minutes it took to cook I stir fried some sliced mushrooms with a spinkle of frozen chopped garlic and frozen chopped shallots. A splash of dry sherry, a sprinkle of black pepper, fold in the drained pasta and a topping of grated cheese. The pasta really made the dish.
