From Bean to Bar
Every Divine chocolate bar begins on small family farms in Ghana, where cocoa is grown by members of the Kuapa Kokoo co-operative.
Beneath the rainforest canopy, cocoa trees are nurtured alongside plantains and other crops, supporting biodiversity and farming communities. Ripe pods are harvested by hand, with care taken to protect each tree.
The beans are then fermented under plantain leaves for several days to develop their flavour, before being dried naturally in the sun. Each batch is traced back to its village, guaranteeing quality and transparency.
Once processed, the beans are roasted, ground and pressed to separate cocoa butter from powder. Blended with sugar—and with milk for some recipes—the mixture is refined through conching and tempering into smooth, glossy chocolate.
From tree to bar, Divine’s process is built on craft, care and fairness—delivering chocolate that tastes good and does good.
